MARKETING COORDINATOR

 

Type: Contract, working remotely for 13-14 months

 

Start Date: End of December 2022 or beginning of January 2023

 

Department: Marketing – Clinics & Hospitals

 

The Role

 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful hire will work in collaboration with marketing team members, operations personnel, and clinic practice managers to coordinate marketing requests within the company as well as between clinics and clients.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Promotional Materials: Respond to marketing-related requests from our clinics and hospitals across Canada. Collaborate with our in-house graphic designer to create engaging visuals for digital channels (website, email newsletters, social media, etc) and traditional channels (brochures, posters, signage etc). Proofread, update, and fact-check materials, ensuring a consistent brand voice in all external communication.
  • Email Marketing: Create and distribute email newsletters to clients on behalf of our clinics and hospitals.
  • Website Editing: Utilize WordPress templates to make content edits, set up landing pages, add images and videos, and blogs. Work with clinics to gather content and edit when necessary.
  • Google Reviews: Work with practice managers and Operations Directors to write appropriate responses to negative reviews and post the reply on the hospitals’ behalf.
  • Other: Participate in meetings, work closely with marketing and other teams to ensure integration into overall company plans. Identify and recommend opportunities for the improvement of processes. Research, source, and order items as required. Other duties and projects as assigned.

 

Background, Experience and Qualifications

 

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • University Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or administration
  • Knowledge in graphic design or design elements is an asset
  • Highly service-oriented with exceptional organizational and follow-up skills
  • Superior time management skills with strong attention to detail and quality
  • Experience with MailJet or MailChimp, WordPress, and social media platforms is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently as well as alongside marketers and other creative individuals
  • Sense of humour
