Paid HR Internship Opportunity

Location: Akron, Ohio, with some work from home

Do you want to gain hands on experience working in a dynamic, ambitious, fun, and exciting work environment? Would you like to acquire real-world shadowing experience in a corporate setting with feedback at the completion of your experience? We are now hiring for an HR intern. This 10-week

paid internship will begin in May or June 2023.

Responsibilities:

·Shadow and participate in interviews. Debrief with interview panels
·Audit organizational charts
·Refresh job descriptions and organize in our knowledge base system
·Help review/revise policies, procedures, and posters to our knowledge base system
·Recommend functional enhancements to increase speed of recall, usability, quality and reliability of information to users
·Work on integration projects
·Workday implementation projects
·Gather and disseminate feedback regarding onboarding from New Hires
·Dependent upon the timing of our survey, help with reporting on engagement survey results
·Turnover reporting
·Support employee engagement and appreciation- events and programming on-site
·Gather benchmark information on hours, postings, and benefits
·Research and solve problems quickly and accurately
·Respond professionally to inquiries
Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements:

·Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources

·Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills

·Self-motivated, proactive, detail- and results-oriented

·Curious and highly effective at engaging subject matter experts (for example, department heads) to uncover their needs

·Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

·Comfortable interacting with all levels of employees using all mediums

·Interact with diplomacy and tact with co-workers, management and all external company contacts
