Ministry Overview

Athletes in Action(a division of Power To Change) is a ministry that seeks to help people know Jesus and experience his power to change the world through sport. Position Overview

The position of Community Administrator is responsible for assisting the AIA Operations Director with their duties. The Community Administrator will focus on managing AIA Community’s registration software, social media, human resources and financial reporting. The Community Administrator will also aid in scheduling meetings and national events as needed.
 
 

Primary Objectives

  • Provide oversight to the administrative needs of the community division
    • Managing online registration and database software
    • Providing a central location for communication (email and phone) and forwarding to the appropriate staff
    • Processing of reimbursements and staff invoices
    • Aid in budget creation and maintenance
    • Maintain and update coach applications


  • Aid in the scheduling and planning of local and national events
    • Work with Regional Directors on the scheduling and details for coach training weeks
    • Work with National Directors on the scheduling and details for training weeks

Education & Experience:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is an asset

  • You have previous experience in an office environment

  • You have previous experience in administrative work

  • You have previous event planning experience is an asset
     
     

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • You have a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • You are organized and are self-motivated

  • You have a working knowledge of computer systems (G-Suite and others). 

  • You have an understanding of and passion for the athletic world

  • You have a self-starter mentality and like variety in tasks and schedules

  • You have good time management skills
