About the opportunity:
MCAN Home is seeking a dynamic, self-starter to join its Residential Lending team! The Account Manager plays an important role in the team, by working directly with clients and is responsible for originating and renewing mortgages. The Account Manager will also generate
leads through a variety of sales channels and handles customer service-related transactions.

What you will be responsible for:
· Maximize the retention of MCAN Home’s existing clients via renewals, early renewals, conversions, refinances, or new purchase transactions
· Monitor retention results to ensure renewal retention targets are met, exceeded or if below target, determine a strategy to improve results.
· Regular communication with management to discuss deals/market intel/escalations to improve client retention
· Prepare loans coming up for maturity for underwriting
· Liaise with MCAN Servicing in all related client inquiries/questions
· Deliver outstanding customer service to clients in areas outside of Servicing’s expertise
· Promote MCAN’s offerings to external clients applying online, through referrals
· Maintain mortgage agent license in good standing as specified in the required jurisdiction
· Collect and pre-screen all documentation submitted by direct and existing MCAN clients while processing their mortgage applications and renewals
The work experience, skills, education that you bring to thrive:
· Qualifications and Work Experience:
o Undergraduate degree in one of the following programs: finance, economics, urban land development, accounting, or business administration
o Experience in mortgage funding, servicing/administration, account management
o Experience working as a mortgage agent, broker or underwriter a plus
o Have a strong customer focus with the ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Skills & Abilities:
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
o Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
o Proven ability to work on and prioritize work tasks in order to manage multiple deadlines
