Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to fill the role of Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical and well-organized, with passion for chocolate. The Marketing Coordinator position is an entry-level position and will serve as springboard into brand management.

As member of the Marketing team, this individual will support the coordination and execution of marketing projects. This position will report to the Director, Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Marketing Leadership team (MLT) with Nielsen analysis and reporting
  • Collect and consolidate competitive information reports such as Consumer & Demographic data and Nielsen Advertising competitive spending for the department
  • Monitor the marketing industry news and submit reports on emerging trends, combined with competitive analysis
  • Coordinate research inputs with the Marketing Director to inform departmental research projects
  • Support the MLT with presentation requirements for key meetings Work with the Marketing and Accounting teams to reconcile and track all Marketing invoices and expenses
  • Manage various administrative responsibilities for the Marketing group including organization of meetings, trainings, and scheduling IBP milestones
  • Coordinate and distribute price lists, sell sheets and product samples on a timely basis. Work with the Marketing Director and MLT on smaller marketing projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, or communication
  • Microsoft Office - Experienced and proficient at a high level in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Nielsen and Cognos considered an asset
  • Minimum one-year experience in the field of CPG marketing (incl. internships)
  • High levels or professionalism combined with strong personal organization and advanced communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a faced pace environment to meet tight deadlines
  • Must be able to function independently and work collaboratively in a team
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals and standard resources
  • Analytical acumen with ability to plan, make suggestions and decisions and practice good judgment
