Groupe Marcelle is looking for a Specialist, Quality Assurance for a permanent full-time position.


Reporting to Manager, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, the Specialist, Quality Assurance is responsible for the compliance of internal and external batch records, as well as processes related to good manufacturing practices.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE 

  • Approve DIN/NPN batch records according to regulatory requirements (Health Canada/FDA).
  • Write/review non-conformance reports related to quality.
  • Conduct regular literature searches.
  • Follow-up and implement CAPAs.
  • Participate/collaborate in Health Canada and FDA inspections.
  • Continuously improve processes.
  • Write/revise and/or verify internal standard procedures.
  • Train staff on GMP principles and current procedures and schedules.
  • Build and maintain a solid batch file in accordance with current regulations.
  • Establish quality agreements with suppliers and subcontractors and follow up as appropriate.
  • Follow up on action plans and deadlines resulting from inspections.
  • Collaborate on change controls and do the appropriate follow-up.
  • Assist employees with QA processes.
  • Evaluate the various trends resulting from the quality systems.
  • Participate in the updating of key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Other, as needed, related tasks. 

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE 

  • Bachelor's degree or DEP in quality assurance or any other related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field or in the quality assurance process.
  • Very good knowledge of GMP, GMP and Canadian, European and American regulations.
  • Good computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc. 

AND IF YOU ARE 

  • Bilingual, French and English, as the person will be working with documentation from both the United States and Europe.
  • Well organized, methodical, and responsible.
  • Good at working in a team environment.
  • Good at taking initiative, good judgment and good objective and relational approach.
  • Good with analytics.
