Apprentice Service Technician

Location: Moose Jaw Ford – Moose Jaw

Up to $14-19/hour depending on experience

Moose Jaw Ford is currently looking for a Full-Time Apprentice Technician to join our busy team.  As we continue to grow our business, we need additional technicians that work well in a team environment, demonstrate a strong work-ethic and are looking to grow and develop. Pride in yourself, doing quality work and willingness to learn is a must.

  • Oil changes, tire changes/rotations, and general automotive maintenance.
  • Diagnosis customer concerns though inspections. 
  • Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly.
  • Suggest additional work required to the Service Advisor so customers can be notified.
  • Assist Service Advisors, if necessary, to explain completed repairs to a customer.
  • Assist other technicians when needed.
  • Complete repair orders within specified time frame and alerts appropriate personnel if delayed.
  • Coordinate with parts department to ensure parts are available to complete repairs and takes necessary steps to minimize time spent waiting for parts
  • Follow all hazardous waste and safety regulations and company policies
  • Utilize technical assistance tools such as OASIS, Tech Hotline, etc.
  • Stay up to date on the latest technical services through training, bulletins, campaigns etc.



  • Enjoys working in fast-paced very busy environment  
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Professional communication & organizational skills 
  • Ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles
  • Valid driver’s license
