Concert is now looking for its next President & Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), who may or may not come from a real estate background. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President & CEO is responsible for the overall management of the business and affairs of Concert Properties, with the goal of achieving the objectives as set out by the Board. The CEO will take on broad responsibility leading the overall business and overseeing investment strategy, stakeholder and investor relations, asset management, leasing, property management, and construction. The CEO will inherit a diverse and stable portfolio to build upon and grow.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished strategic executive and people leader who brings experience in a large, complex, diversified business. While real estate experience is a significant asset, the successful candidate also may bring experience as a CEO from another related industry involving finance, large capital projects or in complex multi-stakeholder environments. Exceptional relationship building, influencing, and strategic thinking skills will be required as success will be predicated on their ability to maximize the abilities of an experienced team and lead the organization through an ever-changing macro environment.
